Is the migration really free?
Yes. Migration is free on every shared, WordPress and reseller hosting plan. VPS and custom setups are quoted after the audit, because the scope varies — you approve the quote before any work starts.
Will my website go down during the move?
No. Your site is copied and tested on our server while the live version keeps running on your current host. The only change visitors see is the DNS switch, which typically completes in minutes once the TTL has been lowered.
What happens to my email during the switch?
Mailboxes and existing messages are copied first, then the MX records are pointed at RanaHost. We keep the old mailbox reachable during propagation so no message is lost in between.
How long does DNS take to update?
We lower your TTL before the cutover, so most visitors move within minutes. Some resolvers cache for longer, but the site stays reachable on both servers during that window.
What if something breaks after the switch?
We stay on the ticket for 14 days and monitor the account. Because your old host remains live, rolling back is a DNS change — not a rebuild. Nothing is deleted until you confirm you are happy.
Should I cancel my old host first?
No. Keep it active until the migration is verified and you have checked the site yourself. Once you are satisfied, cancel it on your own schedule.
